Redmart at the Motherhood Exhibition 2014

I think I haven't updated the blog in over a month or so...was really busy with work.
Realised that having a career of your own and being a mother is not easy.  At work, I have to worry about work and at home, I have to devote my time to Yves and my love (darling husband).
Good thing, I have a helper to help me and look after Yves. But there are some things that my helper cannot do and that is -- grocery shopping!

Believe me, I love doing grocery but because I've been busy with work, I find doing grocery shopping to be a big waste of time.  I find every time I go grocery shopping, I spend hours looking for things, buying unnecessary stuff,  queuing at the cashier and waiting for the cab. And this is simply frustrating!  But good thing, there's Redmart!

Why I prefer shopping at Redmart?

1. Convenience

Our lives have become much busier, with work and family, we have hardly anytime for ourselves but thank God! Redmart is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. I can shop anytime of the day and night and not have to worry about store shopping hours. And believe me, I did my grocery at the Motherhood Exhibition. (of course after I finished working!)

2. Discounts

I can get cheap deals and better prices. Redmart offers discount coupons. I was able to get a total of $20 OFF ($15 OFF because I bought at the Motherhood Exhibition and additional $5 for answering their online survey)

3. Gifts with Purchase

FREE Fisher Price toy worth $65! from Pampers. Yves will totally love his new toy!

4. No hassle. No queues

Shopping can often take a whole day but when you shop online, you can get what you want quickly!

5. More perks

I won tickets to watch the Pete Murray's concert (it was from my second time shopping!)

Pete Murray live in Singapore at the Wavehouse Sentosa last 17 May 2014

Shopping with Redmart can be a very rewarding experience! Anything you need is just a mouse click away. The convenience of shopping online makes shopping easy and fun!...I just hope they will sell meats and vegetables soon.

FREE Fisher Price worth $65 from Pampers

$15 OFF when you shop at the Redmart booth at the Motherhood Exhibition and additional $5 OFF when you answered their online survey
Grocery bill when you have a child is really expensive, so most of the time I buy diapers and milk powders during Mother & Baby fairs. One of the baby fairs I always go is the Motherhood Exhibition-- it is the biggest parenting exhibition, where you can get great discounts and lot of freebies!
Some of my shopping spree from the expo... 3 cans of milk Gain IQ (have $18 OFF), Bio-Oil 60ml at $12.50 (U.P. $15.50) and more!

This is not a sponsored post, I am sharing only my shopping experience and how I am pleased with their service.

  2. I would never buy grocery online....just because I look at every single label on every single item. It would be easier to compare prices online I am sure. Plus, I don't think we have that option here too. But whatever works for your lifestyle I guess. I am assuming that is popular there? I however shop clothes and appliance online. Hmmm....I wonder how you know the expiration dates on food items? do they also label the dates for you? Anyway, now you have time to actually go shopping, you should take Yves for grocery learning, I take the kids and show them every produce and have them hold it for learning using tactile skills. It worked and they remember it more than just showing them a picture from a book or online. For Madison, she now knows how much money she needs to buy certain items just buy going grocery shopping with me. Just a trick to make the hassle of grocery shopping fun!:)
